We are seeking a passionate and effective Senior Java Architect to join our team. The Senior Java Architect is a solid, positive, and innovative individual who thrives in a group with a small-team but big-ideas mentality.

Job Responsibilities

• Build robust and scalable software in a major JVM programming language such as Java, Scala, Kotlin, etc.
• Architect software solutions for deployment at scale in Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Play an active role in product discussions, influence the roadmap, and advocate for the end user experience
• Take ownership and responsibility over new features, and turn those ideas into reality
• Mentor and provide feedback to other team members
• Help improve our code quality through writing unit tests, automation and performing code reviews
• Contribute to the development of products which requires ownership throughout the product lifecycle from inception and design through to deployment and maintenance

Job Requirements

• 7+ years of recent hands-on coding and software design

• A track record of projects completed on time – you are a flawless executor, not a procrastinator

• You find satisfaction in a job well done and want to solve head-scratching challenges

• Experience with CI/CD

• Experience with Java and the willingness to learn new technologies

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline
