Marketing Specialist – Demand Generation

Valukoda is assisting a client, an innovator in the health and wellness space, with hiring a marketing specialist – demand generation. The marketing specialist – demand generation will support the marketing team by leading a variety of marketing campaigns and activities to drive awareness, generate new leads/prospects, and advance existing opportunities for the sales team within specific, targeted accounts and contacts. This position works closely with team members to create and drive multi-channel marketing campaigns. This role will work closely with marketing and sales teams through execution of quick-turnaround tasks and projects, as well as the planning, project management, and reporting on an integrated marketing funnel that meets/exceeds pipeline and revenue growth.

This role requires a tactical and strategic leader that is equal parts creative, operational, collaborative and revenue-minded.


  • Develop and lead demand generation campaigns/programs focused on driving new and returning B2B pipelines to accelerate the customer journey and increase volume
  • Work closely with marketing leaders to develop and execute integrated demand generation campaigns including email marketing, social media, webinars, events, direct mail, inside sales, and content marketing to drive qualified pipeline and accelerate buyer’s journey
  • Collaborate with content and design teams to develop creative campaign assets and successful integrated campaigns
  • Work cross-functionally with internal teams to identify audience and define key messaging and timeline
  • Implement the process of creating, testing, and deploying emails through the marketing automation system for both marketing and client communications
  • Manage aggressive project timelines, ensuring that all activities occur as planned and that campaigns are executed on time, including scheduling, design, production, and distribution
  • Test, measure, and optimize campaigns through various techniques including A/B testing, personalization, creative, timing, and targeting
  • Track and analyze campaign results, measure program success, and report metrics. Recommend improvements based on results.
  • Partner with graphic designer and content manager to ensure campaign messaging and visuals across all touch-points ladder up to our brand strategy and adhere to brand guidelines
  • Track the market for trends, opportunities, industry tactics, best practices, and use that information to make campaign and content recommendations
  • Identify and analyze competitor techniques, as well as benchmarking our organization performance against competitors
  • Work collaboratively with marketing ops to track and analyze campaign impact and success through funnel dynamics, campaign expansion and optimizations, analysis, and A/B and multivariate testing
  • Work with digital marketing manager to create reports that illustrate campaign performance (return on investment) by leveraging tools like Google Analytics and Google Adwords
  • Consult with sales team on how best to use marketing materials appropriately prior to campaign launches with periodic check-ins throughout campaign to ensure consistent messaging
  • Develop relationships with leaders along with a sound understanding of the organization to serve as a valued business advisor in leading the demand generation strategy, creating marketing programs, budgets, and assets
  • Serve as main point of contact for sales related marketing projects and initiatives

  • Strategic thinker with experience writing creative briefs, launching creative projects and guiding creative teams to deliver work that’s on strategy, on brand, on time and on budget
  • Integrated marketing experience, including but not limited to digital and interactive media, direct marketing, social media, content and collateral development, etc.
  • Excellent oral and written communicator with strong technical aptitude who remains abreast of marketing business trends


Education:    Bachelor degree in Marketing or related field


  • 5+ years of sales and marketing management experience required
  • Experience with Salesforce
  • Experience with Marketing automation platforms like Pardot and/or Hubspot
  • Experience with Google Analytics
