Marketing Manager – Acquisition & Engagement

Valukoda is assisting a client, an innovator in the health and wellness space, with hiring a marketing manager – acquisition & engagement. As a key member of the acquisition and engagement team, reporting to the director of marketing – acquisition & engagement, the marketing manager will provide strategic development and oversee execution of participant acquisition and engagement marketing projects. The marketing manager will be responsible for managing and developing high-impact, just-in-time materials to increase participant acquisition and engagement rates, ultimately making a difference in the lives of many people.   • Collaborate with director of marketing to identify strategic direction of participant acquisition and engagement marketing objectives
  • Develop integrated, compelling traditional and digital marketing campaigns driven by past performance data and target demographic data to increase program acquisition and engagement
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to understand overall strategy and planning to produce impactful content in accordance with participant acquisition and engagement corporate goals
  • Leverage demand generation skills to creatively and effectively capture attention of participants and increase conversion rate
  • Develop and execute B2C strategies for all digital landscapes including but not      limited to emails, text messages, app push notifications, microsites, social media marketing and Google Ads
  • Monitor, analyze, and optimize participant acquisition and engagement campaigns to achieve goals. This includes real-time monitoring and adjustments, as needed, as well as longer-term reviews to gauge opportunities for improvement
  • Manage execution of participant acquisition and engagement from beginning to end and utilize CRM database ( to track performance
  • Leverage Google Analytics to gain further insights into efficacy of all participant acquisition and engagement initiatives and to further drive strategy
  • Measure timing of all campaigns and against program performance data to determine successes and opportunities
  • Oversee development of data reports that reflect efficacy of initiatives and recommendations for strategy moving forward
  • Conduct ROI analysis of participant acquisition and engagement marketing campaigns and activities
  • Write (or manage our copywriter), edit, proofread and update all client-related      content and communications in accordance with our style guide
  • Work with internal and external production teams on scope of work, project timeline, and resourcing needed for effective execution
  • Develop creative briefs to give the internal creative team and agencies clear direction on participant engagement goals
  • Manage the end-to-end build of marketing programs by collaborating with creative teams, product marketing, and agency partners
  • Manage agency and vendor relationships to ensure any outsourced work is consistent, high quality, cost effective and reflects branding specifications
  • Document and communicate marketing plans to all stakeholders and communicate learnings and results with all stakeholders
  • Evolve participant acquisition and engagement roadmaps by proposing and fostering new creative and innovative ideas to continually improve business results
  • Work with director of marketing to develop campaign overview documents and presentations to share with internal and external partners and streamlined for executive summary documents
  • Ensure the quality, accuracy and timeliness of all participant acquisition and engagement communications
  • Assist in overseeing and mentoring participant acquisition and engagement team members
  • Ensure digital design is optimized for various delivery mediums with digital marketing specialist
  • Manage client demands, as well as internal requirements, while identifying and balancing competing priorities
  • Drive development and management of co-marketing and co-branded participant acquisition and engagement materials for clients
  • Take on a variety of projects

Education:  BA/BS in Business/Marketing or related field preferred

Experience: Five plus years of marketing experience. Preferred experience health and wellness or benefits industry
