Digital Marketing Manager

Valukoda is assisting a client, an innovator in the health and wellness space, with hiring a digital marketing manager.  The digital marketing manager is responsible planning and execution of digital marketing projects, campaigns and analytics. This person will have broad experience across all digital marketing channels with the ability to build and deliver digital marketing programs that result in a clear ROI for the business. Candidates must embrace taking on simultaneous challenges in an exhilarating, fast-paced environment.


  • Optimize all digital content and implement best practices across web properties
  • Create and implement all paid digital strategy for our B2B and B2C channels to increase lead generation and participant engagement
  • Manage campaigns with an agency on Google Analytics and SEO/SEM for all digital-marketing related activities including corporate social media sites, microsites and digital marketing campaigns
  • Build HTML code to send both design and text emails through our marketing automation tool
  • Project manage the redesign and launch of our corporate website working with multiple business units, stakeholders and agencies
  • Lead digital efforts during our corporate rebrand initiative
  • Manage email marketing programs lists, imports and permissions while working with Marketing Ops
  • Actively test and analyze keywords for landing pages, microsites, emails, etc. to increase quality visitors and drive incremental volume
  • Assist with lead generation and demand generation initiatives (nurture campaigns, print/digital campaigns, lead workflow, webinars, email campaigns, campaign analytics, etc.)
  • Lead creative testing and strategy for all digital efforts, working closely with stakeholders and design team to ensure all our campaigns have the best chance of succeeding
  • Provide monthly analysis of program progress and results, including key milestones and metrics and report on quarterly numbers for clicks, leads, converted leads, pipeline for all online advertising  activity and other relevant KPIs
  • Analyze and evaluate industry benchmarks/market research regarding competitor’s programs to identify gaps and opportunities for improvement
  • Manage agency and vendor relationships to ensure any outsourced work is consistent, high quality, cost-effective and reflects branding specifications
  • Ensure digital design is optimized for lead generation, branding, SEO, SEM web development, etc.
  • Work with the entire marketing team to ensure knowledge sharing and that we are leveraging all resources available
  • Maintain detailed documentation and archiving standards for all digital brand assets
  • Identify opportunities for applying new technologies, digital products and services to online campaigns as well as researching new blogs and channels for relevancy and trend identification


  • Advanced understanding of Google Analytics and Google AdWords
  • Experience with various social media campaign management tools (Facebook Business Manager, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Successfully manage a budget and various digital marketing vendors/agencies
  • Managing/developing SEO strategy, execution and content management systems
  • Strong time management skills, resourceful personality and exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to propose and develop ideas and plans proactively
  • Ability to bring creative solutions to existing programs and processes
  • Ability to drive strategic creative executions


Education:     BA/BS in business, marketing, or related field preferred


  • Four plus years of experience in marketing/ prefer digital marketing
  • Advanced understanding of Google Analytics and Google AdWords
  • Experience with various social media campaign management tools  (Facebook Business Manager, LinkedIn, etc.)
